Privacy Policy

The short version. Baby Sleep Coach is made by Emouna LLC. Your baby's profile and sleep logs live on your device, not our servers. When you ask the AI coach a question, that message is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply — nothing that identifies you. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your card. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.

1. Who we are & scope

Baby Sleep Coach (the "App") and the website at babysleepcoach.app are operated by Emouna LLC, a Florida (United States) limited liability company ("Emouna," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it when you use the App or the website. Contact us any time at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

On-device data. Your baby's name, birth date, weight, chosen method, and the sleep, nap, feeding, and daily-log entries you record are stored locally on your device (in the App's own storage). We do not have accounts, and this data is not uploaded to us.
AI coach messages. When you use the in-app coach, the text of your question and minimal context (such as your baby's age in months and your selected method) are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. We do not attach your name, email, or account identifiers to these requests.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with transaction and aggregate/anonymous sales information.
App integrity. The App authenticates with Apple's App Attest to confirm requests come from a genuine copy of the App on real Apple hardware. These attestation tokens are a security measure and are not used to identify you.
Waitlist / marketing email. If you enter your email on our website, we store it to send you your invite and product updates.
Basic technical data. Our infrastructure provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and browser/user-agent) to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. What we do not collect or do

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App does not require an account or a login.

4. How we use information

To provide the App's features — plans, schedules, methods, the guided flow, and coaching answers.
To process and support your subscription (via Apple).
To respond to you and send beta invites or important updates.
To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

5. The AI coach and third parties

Coaching answers are generated by a third-party large-language-model provider (OpenAI). Your question is processed under that provider's terms and privacy policy to return an answer. Other providers that help us operate the service include Apple (App Store purchases and App Attest) and Cloudflare (website hosting and the secure coach gateway). Coaching guidance is general and educational — see our Terms, and always consult your pediatrician for medical concerns.

6. Data retention

Because your logs are stored on your device, deleting the App removes that data from your phone. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server request logs are retained only for a short period for security and reliability.

7. Children's privacy

The App is designed for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. It is intended for adults recording information about their own infant, and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and Mexico's LFPDPPP — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to opt out of marketing. You can:

Clear on-device data by deleting the App.
Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
Request access or deletion of your waitlist email by contacting [email protected].

9. Security & international transfers

We apply reasonable safeguards, including on-device storage of your logs and App Attest for the coach gateway. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Emouna LLC is based in the United States; where you use the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
